I’m an editor, writer and media strategist. For six years, I’ve worked in new media, helping ambitious brands tell their stories. I’m currently a freelance writer and editorial consultant. I've written for xoJane (RIP), Alternet, Vice, Business Insider, Medium and more. You can read my work online and in print publications in New York's Hudson Valley.
Previously, I was a writer and editor for Viacom's Corporate Insights blog. I covered Viacom's corporate social responsibility initiatives, including its annual Girls Who Code summer immersion program at Viacom Headquarters.
I spent my salad days transcribing interviews and culling through the Rolling Stone archives as a research assistant for Joe Hagan, Vanity Fair special correspondent. Hagan was working on his debut biography, a comprehensive account of Rolling Stone Magazine's legendary founder, Jann Wenner.
For almost four years, I worked alongside Hagan, learning how to conduct interviews and compile meticulous research. When Sticky Fingers: The Life and Times of Jann Wenner and Rolling Stone Magazine was published in 2017, The New York Times lauded Hagan's "dispassionately reported and deeply well-written biography." I am proud to have contributed to this book.
I earned my MFA in nonfiction writing from The New School, and attended SUNY New Paltz for undergrad, studying digital media & journalism.
